JYSK is seeking a Space Management Intern for our Head Office in Aarhus

Would you like to be part of our Space Management department which focuses on product presentation and implementation in the 20 JYSK Nordic countries? Would you like to gain a valuable insight into the processes and procedures of a large corporation and participate in the design and development of JYSK Stores? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Our Space Management department is a part of our Retail Development department, which is responsible for the whole expression of our stores, from drawing the stores to securing the best inventory. We are looking for an Intern who would like to work with retail and Space Management in an international corporation.

We can offer you a 4-6 month internship in the Fall 2019 in Retail Development, Space Management at the JYSK Head Office in Brabrand, Aarhus. You will gain a valuable insight into the processes and procedures of a large corporation and participate in the product presentation and development of JYSK Stores.

You will work in an international environment where no two days are alike, and you will cooperate with competent, dedicated and experienced colleagues in an informal environment with a down-to-earth way of communicating.

You will work with following tasks:
• Maintain and produce planogrammes according to space calendar.
• Coordinate space testing
• Develope and document Space Management concepts, principles and best practice.
• Review space material on site (mostly DK).
• Handle requests from the JYSK Nordic countries on a daily basis.
• Standalone projects in relation to Space Management tasks

• You are following a relevant study programme focusing on Retail - or Space management.
• You have some experience with Space Management programmes (preferably Nielsen products).
• You have a high-level fluency in English, and a good skill of Danish will be regarded as an advantage.
• You have a lot of drive and strong work ethics.
• You are capable of working independently, and you adapt easily to the changes of a busy workday.
• You are an extrovert person, and you love challenges
