Canteen

As a new employee, you may choose to join the canteen scheme, which includes breakfast and lunch for 350 DKK per month, deducted from your monthly salary.

Fitness room

At the Head Office, all employees have free access to the 'JYSK gym', located in the basement. The room is equipped with treadmills, cross trainers, bikes, weights, and other fitness equipment. You can use the facilities outside of working hours.

Social activities

At JYSK Head Office, our Activity Team organises various social events to enhance connections and engagement across departments. These events include:

  • Head Office Summer Party in Aarhus
  • Big annual JYSK Party in Odense with Danish stores and warehouse
  • Friday Bar
  • DHL run
  • Tabletop Games
  • Special events tied to holidays and other activities

Pension Scheme

After three months of employment at JYSK, you will be enrolled in the JYSK pension scheme with PFA. Details of your pension plan are outlined in your employment contract.

If you wish, our independent pension advisor, Willis Towers Watson Denmark, will contact you after three months to review your pension and insurance options.

Health insurance

After three months at JYSK, you will be eligible for company health insurance through Gjensidige Forsikring, covering you and your children. Spouses can be added for an additional cost, deducted from your salary.

Work-free days (feriefridage)

 Employees who have been with JYSK for 9 months without interruptions are entitled to 5 work-free days per year (feriefridage).
