FINANCE

The Finance department at JYSK has the main responsibility for ensuring efficient and effective operations throughout the organisation. 
Finance is responsible when it comes to creating processes, rules and policies, ensuring that key figures and data match the business needs and have a high level of quality. Hence, Finance is crucial to perform loss prevention, securing that internal rules and policies within finance and accounting are followed, especially when it comes to stock management and cash handling.

Moreover, the colleagues in Finance develop and optimise procedures and IT systems in the financial area, mainly SAP. That also includes supporting decentralised finance departments and shared finance centres in using SAP, internal rules and SAP BI. 

Besides playing a key role in valuable business intelligence, Finance at the JYSK Head Office supports the Finance departments in other JYSK countries and shared finance centres, acting as sparring partner for the financial managers and business controllers abroad. 

WORKING IN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT

When working in the Finance department you will cooperate with many different colleagues. You will also be responsible for supporting our internal auditors with reliable data insights to secure compliance with local and international laws and reporting standards.

Examples of tasks:

  • Ensure compliance with rules and policies
  • Participation in development of new IT solutions and projects
  • Daily support of finance departments and shared finance centres
