In Commercial Purchasing we work closely with our many suppliers, but also our multiple departments at JYSK, such as Range and Design, Flow of Goods, Compliance & Quality and Marketing. Hence, we are the connecting link between many departments and functions.

The Flow of Goods department is responsible for ensuring that all JYSK stores receive the right goods, in the right quantities, at the right time and place, within the given budget. That requires us to manage and strengthen our portfolios, and reviewing new articles - always considering the development of sales.
Another sub-division of the Flow of Goods department is Process, Development and Master Data which consists of teams who are responsible for securing continuous development and optimization of the many IT systems that are used by the Purchasing department.
Hence, a close corporation with other JYSK departments, such as the Sales & Expansion team, the Distribution Centres and our suppliers is very important in order to manage supply and demand.

The teams in Compliance and Quality support our Category Managers as well as our suppliers within quality and compliance. From participation in the purchasing process, to defining quality setup and controls, as well as follow-up on complaints.
Our team is located at the Danish Head Office but there are also colleagues in other countries, handling the quality control at their local Distribution Centre.
Hence, when working in the Compliance and Quality department, you will work with many different cultures on for instance the following tasks:
