Sales & Expansion

The Sales & Expansion department ensures sales and profitability for JYSK. This means that they are responsible for surveilling the market, our competitors and implementing marketing activities and materials in the different countries. Part of these marketing activities and materials are promoted in our stores, via campaign papers, on social media, webpages and other marketing channels. Nonetheless, Sales & Expansion also handles the pricing for all articles in all JYSK countries. 

Hence, it is crucial for Sales & Expansion to work closely together with the colleagues in Marketing and Retail in the individual countries to ensure the best possible implementation and execution of marketing activities in the stores. 

WORKING IN THE SALES & EXPANSION DEPARTMENT

In the Sales & Expansion department, you will be part of an international team that works closely together with other JYSK departments to improve our activities and reach our strategic goals.

Examples of tasks:

  • Planning and execution of the JYSK campaigns
  • Monitoring and securing competitiveness in your market
  • Follow-up, reporting and evaluation of the marketing initiatives

"In S&E we are working in teams, where each team has responsibility for their own country/countries. We have a great cooperation in the department, both within each separate team but also across the teams and departments. We work closely together with Marketing, E-Commerce, Purchasing and other departments at JYSK, so you get to know many people, when you become a part of Sales and Expansion.

JYSK has a great working environment. It is very informal and we socialise a lot. When you start working at JYSK, you will get a thorough introduction. Actually, we have an introduction period that lasts three months. During this period, you know exactly what to do and who will help you getting started with a new task"
