Sustainability Project Manager

At JYSK, we launched our current Sustainability Strategy, “A Great Offer for Generations,” in 2024 – an integral part of our overall business strategy. We are now looking for a new colleague to play a central role in ensuring effective implementation and progress toward delivering on our strategic sustainability targets. Your key responsibilities will include driving and participating in relevant projects, taking a central role in sustainability reporting, and translating new legislation into tangible actions for JYSK.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job includes:
- playing a key role in ensuring implementation and delivery within selected areas of JYSKs sustainability strategy “A Great Offer for Generations”
- Managing sustainability projects across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics, collaborating with teams from purchasing, HR, retail, and other functions
- contributing to JYSK’s sustainability statement for the annual report and ensuring sustainability reporting to Lars Larsen Group
- taking the lead on selected EU sustainability regulations, ensuring effective implementation across relevant business functions

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
As a person you have a strong drive, a sheer determination to succeed, and are not afraid of failing on the path to finding the right solution. You are motivated by working with sustainability and eager to expand your competencies within this area. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex challenges, and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
We are looking for a new colleague who:
- enjoys driving complex projects in a structured manner and has at least five years of experience in business development and/or project and stakeholder management
- can translate a strategic direction into concrete, actionable initiatives and ensure their successful implementation
- is motivated to shift between strategic and operational work to drove sustainability at all levels of JYSK
- has a strong interest in or experience with sustainability and can analyse new legislation to suggest practical solutions for JYSK
Your primary workplace will be at our Head Office in Aarhus, where we offer a well-functioning work-from-home policy. You should expect 10-15 travel days per year.
