WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As a Category Buyer, your role will focus on supporting the continuous development of our mattress category across all JYSK countries. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers, contributing to strategic purchasing activities and driving product performance.
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:
- Developing and optimising product assortments to strengthen competitiveness
- Exploring ergonomics and comfort to create products that outperform the market
- Creating accurate master data
- Monitoring product performance and preparing reports to support decisions
- Collaborating with suppliers and colleagues across functions and countries
- Supporting ongoing improvements in quality, functionality and commercial appeal
This position is designed for someone with the drive and potential to grow into a future Category Manager role.
Annual travel: up to 25 days.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:
- Holds a relevant degree Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Has 1-5 years of experience within a similar role
- Has a strong interest in purchasing, product design, quality and functionality
- Is familiar with Microsoft office, SAP and BI tools
- Is confident working with IT systems and open to learning new tools and methods
- Thrives in a dynamic environment with high attention to detail and a fast pace
- Brings a structured, analytical mindset and is confident working with numbers and data
- Is result-oriented and takes ownership of tasks, stakeholders and KPI’s
- Enjoys working collaboratively and builds positive relationships across teams
- Communicates clearly and effectively in both Danish and English, spoken and written
