WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT

With direct report to the Distribution Director, you and your colleagues play an important role in meeting the departments goals.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Define, Optimize and ensure smooth, cost efficient and legally compliant operation within the area of deliveries to end customers across JYSK
• Define, describe, ensure implementation and follow-up of processes within the transport area
• Ensure continuous improvement and development within the online area
• Follow up on KPI and performance
• Support by tender processes with data, data processing, during negotiations, assistance with contract and SOP drafting, etc.
• Ensure best practice sharing across Distribution Centers on handling local transportation management

Your base will be in the Distribution Center in Uldum. As the position is international, 30-40 travel days a year is expected. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Besides successful and relevant logistics experience from a similar position, we are looking for ambition and exceptional leadership skills. If you bring dedication, you will meet possibilities.

In addition, you will bring:

• Experience with online sales across Europe, both as parcels, cargo and pallets
• Proven track record in online, ideally with a background as a freight forwarder, engineer or similar
• Experience with working cross cultures
• Extensive knowledge and experience in preparing and managing tenders
• The drive to deliver outstanding results and continually strive to raise the bar on both quality, efficiency and performance.
• An ability to make independent decisions in a busy working day and act decisively on complex situations.
• Excellent collaboration skills, the ability to communicate at multiple levels and build good relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
• Good english skills (B2-level)
