Sourcing Manager
Do you have experience with sourcing in Asia, and are motivated by identifying and developing new suppliers? Can you lead an international sourcing team and deliver independent results? If so, you might be the new Sourcing Manager we are seeking at JYSK.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
As a Sourcing Manager, you will be part of an international and professional purchasing organisation focused on developing and sourcing products within Sleeping & Living. This is a newly established position, giving you the opportunity to shape and influence the role.
Based at our Head Office in Aarhus, you will be part of the Purchasing department. You will work closely with colleagues in Commercial Purchasing and collaborate with specialists across Flow of Goods and Compliance & Quality.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
You will be responsible for our international Sourcing department, currently consisting of 3 Sourcing Specialists based across Europe.
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:
- developing and implementing sourcing and purchasing strategies
- identifying and establishing contact with new relevant suppliers in Southeast Asia
- onboarding and start-up of new suppliers, ensuring alignment with our Supplier Guidelines, Code of Conduct and Quality Management requirements.
- maintaining and expanding relationships with existing suppliers
- expansion of the Sourcing department by recruiting additional Sourcing Specialists
The role requires travel activity of 60-80 days a year.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:
- has a solid background and proven track record in sourcing and purchasing from a similar role
- is goal-oriented, structured and attentive to details
- is a self-starter, can work independently and are good at creating relationships across different cultures
- can motivate and develop your team and is comfortable leading people from a distance
- has an interest in products design, quality, and functionality, with a strong ability to identify the right products and tradesmanship
- is analytically strong, able to work proactively with numbers and data, and translate these into concrete actions
- possesses good communication skills in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing
