WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
You will join our Web Development department, which consists of over 35 developers working on building performant, intuitive, and scalable web applications. Our Web Development organisation is spread across multiple locations in Europe, and in this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 6-12 developers at our JYSK Head Office in Aarhus. Your key focus will be to develop both the skills of individual team members and the overall team’s capabilities.
As a Team Lead in the Web Development department, you will be part of a dedicated management team of five leaders. You will take on the daily leadership of a skilled team of software engineers, ensuring that business needs are met, challenges are solved, and that both employee satisfaction and delivery quality remain high.
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:
- supporting the development and growth of team members
- coaching employees and ensuring their skills remain at the required level
- taking overall responsibility for the systems managed by the team
- fostering both professional and personal development of employees
- managing projects and participating in initiatives related to web development, procurement, implementation, and more

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:
- is committed to developing people both professionally and personally
- has a background in web development (or software development)
- possesses strong coaching and communication skills
- understands the importance of stakeholder needs while maintaining focus on the right technical solutions
- preferably has knowledge of web development, project management and/or IT architecture
- preferably, has leadership experience within web development
