BUSINESS AGILITY

The Business Agility department is responsible for ensuring long-term competitive advantage for JYSK by ensuring a fast time to market for digital solutions and driving an agile transformation across all business units, including IT. The department is responsible for four functional areas:

Agile Delivery
Ensures that agile teams deliver digital solutions efficiently and quickly by applying lean/agile practices. The function consists of Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineers (a SAFe term) who act as leaders and coaches for the agile teams.

Agile Implementation 
Defines and implements an operating model built on lean-agile principles. The operating model runs across the entire value chain, bridging strategic, tactical, and operational levels.

Agile Portfolio Management
Drives the portfolio management of new digital initiatives across the entire organisation. The goal is to ensure strategy alignment and execution by balancing development demand with capacity and applying lean/agile principles supported by transparent tooling across the organization.

QA & Test Management 
Defines and implements a framework for how to work with quality assurance and testing when developing digital solutions. The area provides Test Management capacity to assist the agile teams in coordination and planning of test activities across multiple teams.

WORKING IN THE BUSINESS AGILITY DEPARTMENT

In the Business Agility department, you will work with all business units and IT on a strategic, tactical, and operational level. We strive for high quality, strategic alignment, and execution efficiency in JYSK's digital journey.

Examples of tasks:

  • Create and implement learning journeys, training, and coaching
  • Drive and facilitate planning meetings and events to ensure valuable outcomes 
  • Facilitate and drive portfolio discussions on CxO level
  • Implement organizational changes by motivating and coaching teams and people
  • Build and implement frameworks and methodologies on test and quality assurance
