WORKING IN LOGISTICS DEVELOPMENT & PROJECTS
Logistics Development & Projects drive the Strategy and Business Plan process for JYSK Logistics and ensure alignment with the overall JYSK strategy. The department maintain and optimise the Logistics Network Strategy and lead major strategic projects, including the establishment of new Distribution Centres and expansion of existing ones both the physical establishment and the IT solution, machinery investments, and framework agreements with key suppliers.
Examples of tasks:
- Driving the Logistics Strategy and Business Plan process
- Managing large-scale projects (e.g. DC expansions and investments)
- Analysing network setup and future capacity needs
WORKING IN LOGISTICS ART (AGILE RELEASE TRAIN)
The Logistics Agile Release Train is responsible for scoping, prioritizing, developing and implementing IT solutions, supporting the Logistics short and long-term vision, supporting JYSK's overarching strategy.
Examples of tasks:
- Prioritising and implementing IT solutions
- Collaborating across business and IT teams
- Supporting development of digital logistics solutions
WORKING IN LOGISTICS HR
Logistics HR’s overall purpose is to attract talents, to retain and develop employees on all levels across the logistics departments and our Distribution Centres. Furthermore, HR is a proactive business partner within logistics and participates in professional and constructive discussions with managers to ensure the best possible JYSK teams.
Examples of tasks:
- Shaping and driving the people agenda in alignment with business strategy
- Partnering with leaders to strengthen organisational performance, leadership and team effectiveness
- Developing and implementing scalable talent, engagement and organisational development initiatives
WORKING IN LOGISTICS FINANCE
Logistics Finance is a trusted business partner for Logistics, providing financial insights, reporting, and transparency to support data-driven decision-making. The team monitors performance across our Distribution Centres and develops dashboards and tools that help improve efficiency in the daily operations.
Examples of tasks:
- Analysing financial and operational performance
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Developing tools and insights for decision-making
WORKING IN LOGISTICS DISTRIBUTION
Logistics Distribution is responsible for development, negotiation and operation of all land transport within JYSK. Land transport in JYSK covers inbound of containers and trucks, delivery to our stores and online customers.
Examples of tasks:
- Managing transport setup and carrier agreements
- Optimising delivery performance and costs
- Ensuring reliable supply to stores and customers
WORKING IN LOGISTICS IT
Logistics IT is responsible for all IT in Logistics; covering from IT strategies, policies to Project Management, but also technical solutions that ensures daily operation. Logistics IT are the owner of different logistics systems and applications used in Logistics.
Examples of tasks:
- Establishing & Maintain IT infrastructure in Distribution Centers
- Ensuring high system availability & high level of security in Hardware & Networks all over Logistics
- Participating in IT projects and system improvements
