IT Delivery Lead – HCM Implementation
Do you want to take responsibility for delivering a modern HCM solution that supports core HR processes across the organisation? Do you thrive at the intersection of HR, Finance and IT, ensuring high-quality master data and seamless system integrations? And do you excel at leading demanding initiatives with momentum, involving stakeholders, and turning decisions into tangible outcomes?
We are looking for an IT Delivery Lead who takes charge—someone who can confidently combine disciplined project governance with pragmatic, agile, fast‑moving execution. As our current SAP HCM OnPrem solution faces end-of-life, you will be a key driver in implementing our new global SaaS platform, ensuring we stay on track from initiation to go-live.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
You will join an organisation where digitalisation of HR is a key priority, and where you will play a central role in shaping future HR processes and system landscapes. You will work in a cross-functional environment with strong collaboration between HR, Finance and IT.
Furthermore, we offer you:
- A key role in a strategic, business-critical implementation programme impacting thousands of people
- A position that combines the structured oversight of project management with the speed of agile delivery.
- Strong opportunities for professional and personal development
- A collaborative and open working culture with engaged stakeholders
- Exposure to modern HR technologies and integration-heavy IT landscapes
- A workplace where structure, ownership, and teamwork are highly valued
WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As IT Delivery Lead for the HCM implementation, you are accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the HCM solution. You will work closely with the Product Owner and external vendors to ensure that the project meets its milestones while maintaining a healthy team environment.
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:
- Leading the implementation of a new HCM solution from initiation to go-live
- Facilitating structured project governance, decision-making, status and steering group reporting
- Managing project scope, timelines, resources, estimates, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinating integrations between the HCM system and other IT systems
- Acting as the main point of contact between HR, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical solutions
- Ensuring change management, user adoption, and knowledge transfer across relevant parties
- Applying agile or hybrid delivery methods as appropriate
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a hybrid profile – someone who understands and masters the rigour of a waterfall rollout but appreciates the transparency of agile:
- Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in classic IT project management
- Motivated by accountability and impact, with the confidence to lead critical decisions and push delivery forward
- Brings solid domain experience within HR systems and HR processes (employee master data, organisation structures, compensation & benefit etc.)
- Is structured, organised, and able to manage complex dependencies
- Has experience with leading implementation of large HCM platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or Workday (a strong advantage)
- Possess resilience and decisiveness to address issues early, constructively challenging stakeholders and vendors to keep quality and timelines on track.
- Is experienced in agile practices, methodologies, and frameworks, such as Scrum and/or SAFe and experienced in facilitating events and workshops effectively
