Finance Intern (FP&A)
Would you like to gain hands-on experience in Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) in a big, international retail company?
We are offering a 4–6 month internship in our Finance Department at JYSK Head Office in Aarhus, starting on 17 August 2026. Here, you will work close to the business and gain practical insight into how financial analysis, controlling and reporting support decision-making across a global organisation.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU
As a Finance Intern in FP&A, you will gain valuable practical experience with core finance processes such as analysis, reporting, controlling and business partnering, combined with exposure to business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
FP&A is responsible for delivering accurate, timely and actionable financial insights that support the business. The department consists of two sub-teams and 13 colleagues in total. You will work closely with experienced controllers and analysts and take part in tasks and projects across the department, giving you a broad understanding of Finance at JYSK Head Office in Aarhus.

WHAT YOUR NEXT INTERNSHIP WILL BE ABOUT
Your internship will focus on two main areas. One key task will be to develop onboarding material and a playbook for aligned onboarding to JYSK BI self-service, which is the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the organisation. In addition, you will work with business controlling, where you will be introduced to controlling fundamentals and learn how corporate and ad hoc reports are built and used.
Your tasks and responsibilities in the Internship include:
- Gaining insight into JYSK’s reporting infrastructure and finance systems
- Developing onboarding materials for new users of BI self-service
- Supporting business controlling activities with guidance from experienced colleagues
- Building, maintaining and improving SAC reports
- Contributing to monthly Head Office controlling and deviation reporting

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:
- Is studying a degree within Economics, Finance or a similar field
- Has strong numerical understanding and enjoys working with data
- Learns new systems quickly and works in a structured way
- Can manage several tasks at the same time and keep an overview
- Has a clear interest in controlling, reporting and governance
- Is good at communicating in English
