WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT

As a Operations Excellence Project Manager, you play an important role in meeting JYSK’s strategic target and ensuring that your team works well together and delivers high quality work on time.

Your main responsibility will be to:

  • Strive towards operational excellence at SDCs(stores), CDCs(online) and forwarded DCs
  • Identify and develop best practices in operations across the DCs, and ensure that these best practices are implemented across all DCs
  • Implement and develop continuous improvement culture in operations across DCs
  • Co-operate with stakeholders to ensure that selected projects are launched and implemented
  • Develop and communicate concepts, policies, rules and guide-lines in a simple way in writing and verbally

You will be part of the Logistics Operations Excellence team. Consequently, you will contribute to the ongoing development of the logistics function at JYSK with a ‘customer first’ mentality.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Besides successful and relevant logistics experience from hands on operations, preferably within retail/FMCG, we are looking for ambition and exceptional leadership skills. If you bring dedication, you will meet possibilities.

You also need to align with JYSK Values; Tradesman, Colleague and Corporate Spirit and Leadership; Leader, Coach and Communicator. The ambition to work with people and ensure their development to develop even better teams is crucial.

In addition, you will be described by the below mentioned characteristics:

  • The drive to deliver outstanding results and continually strive to raise the bar on both quality, efficiency and performance.
  • Willingness to take a pragmatic, hands-on approach
  • A continuous improvement mindset continually challenging the state of things, to constantly improve systems, procedures and processes.
  • An ability to make independent decisions in a busy working day and act decisively on complex situations.
  • An ability to adapt quickly to new situations, and you enjoy a varied working day.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, the ability to communicate at multiple levels and build good relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Good English skills and be able to travel 50-80 days a year
