Category Buyer – Bed linen, Sheets & Bathroom

At JYSK Head Office in Aarhus, we are looking for a Category Buyer to join our Purchasing Department and play a key role in developing our product categories for Bed Linen, Sheets and Bathroom across more than 30 countries.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As a Category Buyer, your will contribute to the ongoing development of our categories within Bed Linen, Sheets and Bathroom across more than 30 countries. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers, contributing to strategic purchasing activities and product performance.
You should expect aprox. 20 days of traveling.
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:
- Developing and optimising product assortments
- Creating and maintaining accurate master data
- Monitoring and analysing product performance and preparing reports
- Collaborating with suppliers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams
- Supporting ongoing improvement in quality, functionality and commercial appeal
This position is designed for someone with the drive and potential to grow into a future Category Manager role.
We expect the selected candidate to start on January 1st 2026.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:
- Holds a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Has 2-3 years experience as a buyer
- Shows strong interest in purchasing, including product design, quality and functionality
- Is proficient in Excel, confident working with IT systems and open to learning new tools and methods
- Thrives in a dynamic environment with high attention to detail and a fast pace
- Brings an analytical and structured mindset and is confident working with numbers and data
- Is result-oriented and takes ownership of tasks, stakeholders and KPI’s
- Enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships across teams
- Communicates clearly and effectively in both Danish and English, spoken and written
