Commercial Purchasing Intern

Would you like to work as a Purchasing Intern in an international retail company and gain hands-on experience at a global Head Office? As a Commercial Purchasing Intern at JYSK, you will become part of our Purchasing organisation and gain insight into how we develop product ranges and secure great offers for customers across multiple markets.

You will be based at JYSK Head Office in Aarhus and work closely with colleagues in the Commercial Purchasing Department. Here, you will experience how structured processes, sound tradesmanship and strong collaboration support daily commercial decisions in an international setup.

The internship runs during Autumn 2026 and starts on 17 August 2026. You will gain practical experience in purchasing within a large international organisation and work closely with dedicated and experienced colleagues.

WHAT YOUR NEXT INTERNSHIP WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

• Preparing analyses and presentations for range and sales meetings
• Analysing market data, including competitor and customer behaviour
• Developing tools that support structured and data-driven decision-making
• Registering articles and maintaining master data in purchasing systems
• Participating in relevant supplier meetings and visits
• Providing feedback on enquiries from different parts of the organisation
• Supporting ad hoc purchasing tasks in a dynamic daily workflow

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:

• Are currently pursuing a degree in Purchasing, Business Administration or a related field
• Bring dedication, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Have solid Microsoft Excel skills, with VBA knowledge as an advantage
• Work independently and keep an overview in a dynamic environment
• Adapt easily to change and a varied workload
• Communicate confidently in English
